“Real estate agents and real estate brokers are people who represent
sellers or buyers of real estate or real property. While a broker may work
independently, an agent usually works under a licensed broker to
represent clients.[1] Brokers and agents are licensed by the state to
negotiate sales agreements and manage the documentation required for
closing real estate transactions.”
The REALTOR® marks let people know that you are more than just a real
estate practitioner: you adhere to a strict Code of Ethics that protects
clients, the public, and other real estate agents.
The term REALTOR® is not only a trademark owned by NAR and
protected by federal law, it’s a valuable membership benefit that
distinguishes members from other real estate licensees.
I made the decision to get my real estate license in 2015 in Florida
because we had a terrible real estate agent who sold us our Florida home.
We did most of the work. I vowed I would use empathy, understanding and
kindness in working with customers and I have helped many customers
sell their homes and buy new homes, or, in many cases, I found homes
that people could afford to buy. I helped families to navigate the most
important and expensive journey to a place they can call HOME. You may
know several real estate agents already just from being out in the world. I
suggest that you do interview any agents you already know, providing you
had a good relationship with them. As is now predominant in the real
estate industry, the relationship between a seller and a listing agent and a
buyer and a buyer’s agent has to be trusting.
I am highly-trained in the most important aspects of real estate and have
earned several designations as a result of that training. The most notable
designation is “GRI”, which stands for Graduate Realtor Institute. This
designation helped me to gain in-depth market knowledge and increased
proficiency in a broad array of subjects to enhance professionalism and
business success.
I also earned the Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE) certification for
real estate professionals who want to sharpen their negotiation skills and
the Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) designation which is the premier
credential in seller representation, designed to elevate professional
standards and enhance personal performance. I am proud to say that my
first priority is you, my customer. It’s not about me; it’s about how I can
help you.
My customer service skills, which have dominated my working relationship
in so many different areas of the economy, have engrained my work ethic
as to the diligence, punctuality, a caring attitude and creative ability to
function within the discriminating public. If you need to reach me, I
respond quickly to your favorite method of communicating. Otherwise, I
respect your privacy but will seek to inform you in a timely manner with
any requests and/or comments (in the case of your listing) that buyers may
have.
I am also a Certified Home Staging Consultant which is useful in helping
you get your home ready to sell. You can visit my Home Staging website
